Can I take a holiday in Term Time?

Holidays should not be taken in term time. What do I do if my child cannot attend school?

If your child is not well enough to attend school then you should notify the school office on 0208 852 4283 or e-mail admin@stsaviours.lewisham.sch.uk on the first day of absence. If your child is likely to be absent for more than three days then please advise the school.

What do I do if my child has Sickness and Diarrhoea?

If your child has vomited or has suffered from  diarrhoea then they should not return to school for 48 hours after the last bout of vomiting or diarrhoea.

What do I do if my child has a Medical Appointment?

If you child has a medical appointment during the school day you must notify the school office immediately. The office will also ask to see proof of the appointment for our records. You will then be issued with a “Green Slip” which is an authorised absence from the school site.

To apply for leave for exceptional circumstances please download a Application Form for Pupil Absence and return to the school office.

What is a Fixed Term Penalty?
