Summer Reading Challenge 2017
Every year Lewisham Library runs the Summer Reading Challenge.
Children have 6 weeks to read 6 books. After every 2 books they have read they visit the library, talk about the book to the librarian and receive a prize. When children have read all six books they get a medal.
This week Tim, our Lewisham Librarian, visited the school to present the 24 children who completed the challenge their certificates!
As a bonus, each child receiving a certificate also got 100 team points for their school team.
Next year I am raising the reward to 200 points! So get reading and support your local library!
